About TourNote

The Problem

If you've toured in a band, you know the reality: information scattered across emails, venue contacts lost in message threads, travel documents hard to find, and financial records poorly organised.

Existing professional management tools can cost £75+ per month — pricing that only works for established acts with tour managers and healthy budgets. Independent and emerging musicians are left without appropriate tools, forced to piece together spreadsheets and random notes.

The Solution

TourNote is a mobile-first band management app designed specifically for independent musicians. It brings schedules, advances, files, finances, and shared tasks into one organised place.

The focus is on practical functionality without unnecessary complexity. Fast, intuitive, and built around starter credits, credit packs, and an Unlimited Pass — accessible for working musicians.

Why I Built This

My name is Chris and I'm the drummer in TTNG. I've experienced these organisational challenges first-hand through years of touring. I'm also a software engineer, and so I have built TourNote to address these issues. I understand the problem from both sides — as a musician who needs better tools, and as a developer who can create them. This combination of direct experience and technical skills means I'm building exactly what working bands actually need, not what I think they might want.

Where We're Going

This project is based on years of touring experience and conversations with active musicians. There's a clear gap in the market for something affordable and practical.

Independent musicians deserve access to professional tools that support their work. TourNote will continue to evolve based on real user feedback, adding features that solve actual problems.

The goal is simple: keep the pricing accessible and the features useful.
