My Profile

Manage your personal account settings and information.

Accessing Your Profile

  • Open the main menu
  • Tap Settings to open the settings page
  • Under the Account section choose My Profile
  • On desktop, you can also click My Profile directly from the sidebar
  • Your profile settings page will open

Profile vs Band Settings

  • My Profile: Your personal account information (name, email, password)
  • Band Management: Band-specific configuration (requires a current band)
  • Profile settings are always accessible, even without a band
  • Band Management page requires you to be a member of at least one band

Updating Your Name

  • Navigate to My Profile
  • Update your First Name and/or Last Name
  • Click Save Changes
  • Your name will be updated across all bands you're in

Changing Your Email Address

  • Navigate to My Profile
  • Update the Email Address field
  • Click Save Changes
  • You'll use this new email to sign in
  • Make sure you have access to the new email address

Changing Your Password

  • Navigate to My Profile
  • Enter your new password in the New Password field
  • Re-enter the same password in Confirm New Password
  • Click Save Changes
  • Important: You'll be automatically re-authenticated for security
  • All your other devices will be signed out
  • You'll need to sign in again on those devices with your new password

Timezone Settings

  • TourNote automatically detects your timezone when you first sign in
  • Your timezone is used to display all dates and times correctly
  • Show times, deadlines, and schedules adapt to your local time
  • If you travel, your timezone updates automatically

Deleting Your Account

  • Navigate to My Profile
  • Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
  • Click the Delete Account button
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted

  • Before you delete:
  • • You must transfer ownership or delete any bands you own
  • • You'll be removed from all bands you're a member of
  •  
  • What happens after deletion:
  • We permanently delete your account and sign you out everywhere
  • Your memberships are removed and your personal data is taken out of band access lists
  • Activity entries keep your name for history but are no longer linked to an account

Privacy & Security

  • Your password is encrypted and cannot be viewed by anyone
  • Email addresses are only visible to band members in your bands
  • Account deletion permanently removes your personal data
  • We never share your information with third parties

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my email to one that's already in use?

No, each email address can only be associated with one TourNote account.

What happens to my bands when I delete my account?

If you own bands, you must transfer ownership or delete them first. If you're a member only, you'll be removed automatically.

Will changing my password sign me out everywhere?

Yes, for security reasons. You'll need to sign in again on all your devices with your new password.

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No, account deletion is permanent and cannot be recovered.

Can I still open Settings without a band?

Yes. Account and support settings are still available, and band-specific sections appear once you have a current band selected.
