Credits & Passes

Everything you need to know about band credits, Unlimited Pass, referral rewards, and managing billing.

Pricing

  • Starter credits: every new band receives 10 starter credits.
  • Credit packs: 5 credits for £6, 10 credits for £10, or 20 credits for £18.
  • Unlimited Pass: £49 for 1 year of unlimited events and show days on one band.
  • Events and show days: 1 credit each unless the band has an active Unlimited Pass or Legacy Plus entitlement.
  • Tours, travel days, days off, finance entries, and to-dos are unlimited. Advancing, notes, accommodation, files, and band members do not spend credits.

Buying Credits or a Pass

  • Navigate to Settings > Credits & Passes
  • Choose a credit pack or the Unlimited Pass
  • Any active band member can buy credits or passes
  • Credits and passes belong to the selected band, not the person who bought them
  • Members can spend existing band credits when they create events or show days

Referral Credits

  • The Credits & Passes page includes a referral link for your band
  • Copy the link and send it to another band that is new to TourNote
  • Your band earns 5 credits after the referred new band creates its first event or show day
  • The page shows earned credits, pending referrals, and the monthly cap progress
  • Referral rewards are capped at 20 credits per month

📱 Where you can manage billing

Web purchases are managed in TourNote through Stripe. iOS and Android credit/pass purchases are managed through the App Store or Google Play when available. Legacy Plus is closed to new subscribers.

Billing Frequency

  • Credit packs are one-off purchases and credits do not expire
  • Unlimited Pass runs for 1 year from purchase
  • Legacy Plus remains monthly while it stays active

Managing Payment Methods

  • Web credit and pass payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • If you bought credits or a pass in the App Store or Google Play, manage payment methods in that store account
  • For manually managed Legacy Plus, support handles billing changes while it stays active

Updating Billing Information

  • Stripe collects billing details during each web checkout
  • If you bought credits or a pass via Apple or Google, update billing details in that store
  • For Legacy Plus billing changes, contact support

Viewing Billing History

  • Stripe sends receipts for web credit and pass purchases by email
  • If you bought credits or a pass via Apple or Google, view history in that store account
  • For Legacy Plus billing history, contact support

Pass Expiry and Legacy Plus Cancellation

  • Unlimited Pass access lasts until the expiry date shown on the billing page
  • When a pass expires, existing events and show days stay unlocked
  • Future events and show days need credits or a new Unlimited Pass
  • Existing Legacy Plus subscribers keep unlimited creation while their legacy entitlement remains active
  • If Legacy Plus is cancelled or expires, future events and show days use credits or an Unlimited Pass

Buying Again

  • Buy another credit pack whenever the band needs more credits
  • Buy a new Unlimited Pass when the previous pass expires
  • Credits never expire and remain with the band
  • Existing unlocked dates remain available even if you do not buy again

Changing Billing Options

  • You can buy credits and later add an Unlimited Pass for the same band
  • Unlimited Pass bypasses credit spending while it is active
  • Credit balances are not shared between bands
  • If ownership changes, credits and pass access stay with the band

What Happens When Credits Run Out

  • The band cannot create new events or show days without credits, Unlimited Pass, or active Legacy Plus
  • Tours, travel days, and days off can still be created without credits
  • Existing events and show days remain editable and fully accessible
  • Deleting a chargeable date does not refund the credit
  • Any active band member can buy more credits or an Unlimited Pass

Refunds

  • Contact [email protected] to request a refund
  • Refunded credit purchases remove unspent credits from that purchase
  • Dates already unlocked with credits remain unlocked
  • Refunded Unlimited Pass purchases stop future pass access but do not lock old content
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method

Who Manages Billing

  • Any active band member can buy credits or an Unlimited Pass for the band
  • Any active band member can spend existing credits when they create events and show days
  • The band owner manages any remaining Legacy Plus entitlement
  • If you need to change who manages Legacy Plus billing, transfer ownership

🔒 Secure Payments

Web credit and pass payments are processed through Stripe. Native credit/pass purchases are managed through Apple or Google when available. TourNote never stores your full credit card details.

⚠️ Existing Content

Existing events and show days stay unlocked after credits are spent, a refund is processed, or an Unlimited Pass expires. Billing changes only affect future event and show day creation.
